Vorab unterhielten wir uns mit ihm über die Branche als solches, wobei Christian Trixl die Ansicht vertrat, dass die Konsolidierung der Asset Management-Industrie noch nicht abgeschlossen sei. Die gegenwärtigen gesellschaftlichen und ökonomischen Entwicklungen werden diese noch beschleunigen, wobei es sicherlich Gewinner geben werde.

Frederick Widl is Head of Real Assets at AXA Investment Managers (Switzerland) and a member of executive management. Under his leadership, AXA IM manages a real estate portfolio in Switzerland worth CHF 16 billion. AXA’s most recent projects include Steinbock, a multifunctional development in Chur; Hello Lenzburg, an apartment block with a modular wooden structure that won the NZZ Trend-Radar prize; and the visionary new Haus zum Falken by the architect Santiago Calatrava.

Sven lives in Zurich with his wife and two sons, aged four and seven.

Nicolas Campiche joined Pictet Alternative Advisors in 2000 and was appointed CEO in 2003. He began his career in 1991 with the United Nations Pension Funds in New York before moving to Credit Suisse Group, where he rose to the rank of portfolio manager. Pictet & Cie hired him in the same function in 1994, and he later assumed responsibility for the bank’s UK private clients in London.

He began his career in asset management with Winterthur Insurance and later ran his own asset management business. Stephan is a member of the executive management of Baloise Asset Management.

Dominik Brunner, a specialist in alternative investments has worked at Schroder Investment Management Switzerland since June 2018. Prior to that, he spent almost 20 years at UBS. Dominik’s job involves familiarising clients with the fast-growing range of alternative investments and helping them to find ways to incorporate these into their portfolios. His focus is on private assets such as private equity and hedge funds. He is married and has one son.

Before founding Twelve Capital in 2010, Urs worked for Horizon21 building up its ILS business.

Professor Franzoni’s research has been published in the top finance journals worldwide and has appeared in the international press. He is a regular speaker at leading academic conferences in finance.
