Token to the Future – Digitalization of the Fund Value Chain

In March 2022, a survey of a hundred fund managers in Europe found that just over half of them (52 percent) are starting to look at "tokenization" - digital ownership shares that leverage the burgeoning world of cryptos, tokens and digital assets. 85 percent of the respondents said they believe financial services firms risk falling behind if they don't prepare for mass-scale asset tokenization. According to the survey, which was conducted by tokenization platform Token City, some 21 percent of the fund managers stated that they have already invested in some tokenized assets; 73 percent plan to do so in the next three years. The survey participants collectively manage $546.5 billion in assets.Since the assets sector obviously shows great interest in this area, there is no doubt that the asset management and fund industry needs to find answers to the processes of tokenization of assets.
