The Asset Management Association Switzerland admits the following as active members:
- providers of Swiss collective investment schemes subject to authorization from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA
- representatives of foreign collective investment schemes subject to authorization from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA
- asset managers active in the management of the assets of institutional investors
- custodian banks subject to authorization from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA for their activities
Auditing firms, lawyers and other natural persons or legal entities that support the purpose of the association can be admitted as associate members of the association.
Advantages of membership
Being a member of the Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS) means being actively involved in shaping the asset management industry in Switzerland. AMAS is the first point of contact for Swiss asset managers regarding legal, regulatory and tax issues. We actively support our members and represent their interests as a recognized self-regulatory organization at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). AMAS provides its members with the relevant model documents, offers exclusive access to data, statistics and to industry and professional events as well as an excellent business network.
